The work assigned by the Directorate, ASI, New Delhi

In the field season 2019-20, the team of TSP (NR) under the direction of Dr. Praveen Kumar Mishra, RD (Central) assisted by Dr. Rajesh Kumar Mehar (Assistant Archaeologist), Sri K.R. Malaviya (Photographer) has conducted survey on site of Ruins in Dimapur Fort (Kachari Rajbari) of Nagaland. There are three groups of stones monolithic including fallen architecture members. A huge single stone monolith in western side and two tanks can be seen on site. In the eastern side of the area remains of brick fortification wall and Fort-gate is visible. At same field season the team also survey of Sun temple at Konark, District-Bhubaneswar in Odisha. Such a stupendous structure was built at Konark enclosed within a spacious compound, the main temple consists has on plan a Sanctum, Jagmohan and detached Nata-mandapa in the east west axis.
